A convincing film prosthetic doesn't start with silicone or paint – it starts with a clear idea.

Often, at the beginning of a project, it isn't yet clear how a figure or transformation should look in the end. That's exactly why every project starts with a personal conversation. Together we discuss your ideas, the budget, the schedule and the requirements of the production. Even at this early stage it becomes clear which solutions make sense and are realistically achievable.

Every character transformation is tailored individually to the production's requirements. Factors such as camera setups, wearing comfort, facial expression, shoot duration and planned special effects feed into the development from the start. This creates film prosthetics that not only look convincing but also function reliably under real production conditions.

For me, the quality of a film prosthetic is decided during modeling. This is where the form, proportions and small details are created that later determine whether an effect looks believable. Everything created in this step forms the basis for the final result.

Only then follow mold making, fabrication, painting and preparation for use on set. Each step builds on the previous one and is carefully coordinated with your production.

My goal is to develop film prosthetics that are not perceived as an artificial effect but blend naturally into the character and the story. That way, direction, production and cast can focus entirely on their work.

My standard

For me, a film prosthetic has succeeded when it is no longer perceived as a film prosthetic but as part of the character. That is exactly the goal I pursue on every project – because convincing special effects should support the story, not distract from it.
