Custom Silicone Prosthetic for Coldscream Cosplay – Ragna from SYNCED

For an elaborate cosplay project, I was contacted by Nastassja Köhler, owner of Crexpro GmbH. What was sought was a custom-made silicone prosthetic for the well-known cosplayer Coldscream Cosplay (Masha), intended to portray the character Ragna from the video game SYNCED as faithfully as possible.

The goal of the project was to develop a high-quality custom prosthetic that integrated harmoniously into the existing character design and realistically transferred the striking look of the game figure onto the performer. Alongside authentic shaping, the focus was on a natural fit, comfortable wear and a convincing effect on camera.

After discussing the design brief together, development of the bespoke silicone prosthetic began. The prosthetic was sculpted, moulded and fabricated from high-quality platinum silicone specifically for this project. Thanks to the ultra-thin transitions, the prosthetic could be bonded almost invisibly to the skin and was ideally suited to professional photo and video work.

After fabrication, the prosthetic was colour-matched to the skin tone and carefully made up so that it blended seamlessly into the final cosplay. The result was a detailed character transformation that convincingly reflected the iconic features of Ragna and looked realistic both in photos and in close-ups.

This project shows how custom-developed silicone prosthetics can raise modern cosplay projects to a professional level and illustrates the possibilities of bespoke character designs for gaming, trade-fair and content productions.
